Technology took a whole new dimension today at King David Linksfield. A technology project that started with a brief of designing a toy car to a toddler turned into reality when the Grade 6 learners designed and made their cars to the children of the Mai Mai creche’ in the inner city of Johannesburg and hand them out to the children. Mai Mai creche’ visit to the school was the highlight for both learners and children and was very emotional and made the technology project meaningful.
Lucy, the principal of the school thanked the school for the special day and added that this is the first time for her children to have a Christmas party.
In the movie the Mai-Mai children show off their dancing talent to the KDL learners and teachers.
